Hickory Glass Haus

Alana’s love for stained glass began with her grandparents, whose large geometric and floral panels, along with their kaleidoscopes, first introduced her to the craft. A middle school art lesson sparked her curiosity, and a summer workshop gave her the opportunity to learn the fundamentals. After years as a social studies teacher, she returned to that early passion and, in 2024, launched her own studio after moving back to Texas. Using flea market finds, castoff pieces and materials from creative reuse stores,  she creates sun-catchers and small panels that give new life to forgotten pieces.
