Meet the Trio

Jan of Sweet Sister Treasures

Travis of Scout's Stuff (WOODWORKING AND VINTAGE MACHINE RESTORATION)

Jan of Sweet Sister Treasures

Granddaughter and daughter of local farmers, lifelong learner, mother of several and teacher of many, Jan is deeply satisfied when she spins straw into gold; that is, transforming vintage jewelry boxes, shiny blingy bits, abandoned paintings, discarded frames, colorful ephemera, and nostalgic finds into fresh treasure.

Alana of Hickory Glass Haus

Travis of Scout's Stuff (WOODWORKING AND VINTAGE MACHINE RESTORATION)

Jan of Sweet Sister Treasures

A former social studies teacher turned stained glass artist, Alana creates nature-inspired sun-catchers and small panels. Rooted in a family tradition of makers, fixers, and educators, her work reflects a balance of craftsmanship, intentionality, and creative renewal.

Travis of Scout's Stuff (WOODWORKING AND VINTAGE MACHINE RESTORATION)

A mechanical engineering graduate with a lifelong passion for understanding how things work, Travis is known for his ability to build, repair, or restore just about anything. Driven by curiosity and hands-on problem solving, he enjoys taking things apart to learn their inner workings and often applies that insight to designing and creating his own functional solutions from the ground up.
